Stockholm’s published grid carbon intensity is roughly one twentieth of Texas’s and one thirty-third of Indiana’s state electricity-generation averages. An indicative comparison of electricity, not AI service footprints.

Google’s carbon-free energy metric includes clean energy attributed to Google and is an annual average of hourly values. Carbon-free does not mean exclusively renewable. These figures do not measure a GPU’s full lifecycle, an AI task or a provider’s actual emissions.
